Two Products, Two Licenses
Full Terms
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Inkog services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Inkog on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Description of Service
Inkog provides static analysis tools for AI agent security. The service consists of two components: (1) the Inkog CLI, an open-source command-line tool licensed under Apache 2.0, and (2) the Inkog Cloud API, a hosted service for enhanced analysis capabilities.
3. Inkog CLI (Open Source)
The Inkog CLI is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the CLI in accordance with the Apache 2.0 license. The CLI is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. See the full Apache 2.0 license at https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.
4. Inkog Cloud API (SaaS)
The Inkog Cloud API is a hosted service subject to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Usage is subject to the rate limits and features of your subscription tier. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Cloud API at any time with reasonable notice. Pricing Model: • Inkog CLI: Free forever. Open source under Apache 2.0. Unlimited local scans. • Inkog Cloud API: Usage-based pricing. See Pricing page for current tiers. This open-source-lead model allows developers to evaluate Inkog locally before committing to cloud features like team dashboards, CI/CD integration, and historical reporting.
5. GitHub App & CI/CD Integrations
The Inkog GitHub App and CI/CD integrations (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) are extensions of the Inkog Cloud API and subject to the same SaaS Terms. These integrations: • Authenticate via OAuth or API tokens linked to your Inkog account • Are subject to the same rate limits as direct API usage • Follow the same data handling practices (ephemeral processing, no code storage) Self-hosted CI/CD runners using the Inkog CLI are governed by the CLI terms (Apache 2.0).
6. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for: (a) maintaining the security of your account credentials, (b) all activity that occurs under your account, (c) ensuring your use of Inkog complies with applicable laws, and (d) not using Inkog for any unlawful purpose or to analyze code you do not have the right to analyze.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your code and data. Inkog does not claim any ownership of the code you analyze. The Inkog name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Inkog AB. The Inkog CLI source code is licensed under Apache 2.0.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INKOG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES. Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. [Service Level Agreements and specific liability caps will be detailed in your subscription agreement once pricing tiers are finalized.]
9. Termination
You may stop using Inkog at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Cloud API for violation of these terms with notice when practical. Upon termination, your right to use the Cloud API ceases, but you may continue to use the Apache 2.0-licensed CLI.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
11. Infrastructure & Sub-processors
Inkog Cloud services are hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure in the EU region by default. US regions available on request. Our infrastructure providers maintain industry-standard compliance certifications. For the current list of sub-processors, see our Privacy Policy or contact legal@inkog.io.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
